Before you post and read away here are a few rules and regulations.
Everyone loves Jayne and Chris so we all respect their privacy and them.
We do NOT accept any bullying or bitching. Any unacceptable behavior will NOT be tolerated. You will get 1 warning via a PM. After that you will be removed off the forum. Any unacceptable posts will be moved immediately.

Rules for each fic posted.

•A disclaimer is any statement which states the rights and obligations that fanfic authors must abide by when writing their fics in order to deny responsibility or connection to the subject they are writing about.
•The purpose of a disclaimer is to avoid the possibility of legal action for libel. Libel is anything that is defamatory or that maliciously or damagingly misrepresents something.
•What to include:
  -  Your disclaimer must be relevant to your fic alone, update it regularly for each change of storyline/introduction of new characters or places (see general disclaimer for guidance).
  -  You must also specify that what you are writing about does not necessarily represent your views.
  -  You must mention that:
    * No harm/offence/defamation is meant
    * Characters and/or song lyrics do not belong to you, they are merely being borrowed as muses for the story
    * Characters and situations that may resemble/represent real-life are purely coincidental.
  - These are suggestions/guidelines only - not an exhaustive list, please change your disclaimers appropriately to reflect your stories.

Whilst we are fully supportive of creative freedom and diversity in the fics, you must appreciate that not everyone will want to read potentially distressing storylines. By this we mean sensitive matters such as divorce, teenage pregnancy, abortion, drug abuse, violence, rape or death to name a few. Whilst it is not necessary for you to explain explicitly your plot line, it is considered good form to post simple warnings such as "May contain violent scenes" or "Deathfic" to pre-warn those who do not wish to be subject to such themes.

You must give your story an appropriate rating, so readers will be forewarned of the content. Ratings are in place to ensure that our younger members do not read something that is inappropriate to their age/maturity level. We cannot control what you read/don't read, so the onus is on you to obey these ratings.

The ratings are as follows:
G/U –
Stands for: General/Universal
Suitable for: General audiences – anyone and everyone
Content Restrictions: No scenes of violence, of a sexual nature, no sexual references or descriptions of nudity, no drug references, no bad language
Examples: Most (if not all) Disney movies; Dancing on Ice

PG –
Stands for: Parental Guidance
Suitable for: Audiences aged 12 and above – most young teenagers
May contain: Mild violence and bad language, no drug references, sexual references only – no details
Examples: Shrek; Blades of Glory

15 –
Suitable for: Audiences aged 15 and above – older teenagers
May contain: Violence and bad language, drug references, mild sex scenes and nudity
Examples: Love Actually; the Lord of the Rings films; the Star Wars films

18 –
Suitable for: Audiences aged 18 and above – adults
May contain: Violence and bad language, drug references, sex scenes and nudity – but nothing too explicit as this is not that kind of site
Example: Films of adult nature

We do not accept pornographic fics. We feel it's disrespectful to Jayne and Chris. Nothing wrong with a little fun, but there are boundaries. Anything unacceptable will be immediately removed.

grammatical errors; one or two mistakes here and there is fine, but if every other word is spelt wrong and every other sentence doesn’t make sense, then a warning will be issued to the author asking them to modify the post/fic. Continuous misspelling of key words such as Jayne/Jane, Christensen/Christiansen, Kieran/Keiron (etc) is disrespectful to the people involved and evokes impressions of pure laziness. There are plenty of word processing programmes out there (most come with a computer), put in a bit of effort and use one. If you make an effort and take pride in your work, then people are more likely to make an effort to read it.  If after three warnings, the author’s use of language has not improved, then they will be prevented from posting replies for a pre-determined period.

Please do not use excessive ‘text’ speak in your posts/fics. We have members from all around the world here, and English may not be the first language for everyone, please be mindful of that and refrain from posting things that are difficult to read and understand. Capitals should be used for names, places, personal pronouns and at the beginning of sentences only – excessive use of capitals IS ANNOYING AND GIVES THE IMPRESSION THAT THE POSTER IS SHOUTING. TyPinG with mIxEd LoWeR CasE and CapItAl LetTerS Is AlSo VeRy AnNoYiNg AnD HaRd To ReAd – so please don’t do it.

Example of disclaimer -

I would hope that we can all be respectful.  If you don't like a fic, don't read it.  It isn't necessary to leave a negative comment.  This is ALL fiction.
